MEASUREMENTSĪll original hardware that came with the guitar. Other than that, this is a VERY clean and beautiful example. There’s some lacquer blooming or swirl in the headstock, not too bad, but you can see it in bright light (see photo). There’s a small (burn?) mark in the binding near the bottom strap pin (see photo). There’s a small dimple between the pickups (see photo). There are some small discoloration marks and scratches on the back, but very minimal. The pots are a mash-up of different brands, including CTS. The hardware was pretty tarnished, so the bridge and wheels, studs, tailpiece (lightweight aluminum!), strap buttons, and a bunch of screws and the knobs (which are for US pots) were all replaced. The soldering wasn’t too pretty but all the joints were gone over and everything works as it should.

Guitar has a non-original VH-1 in the neck (taken from an 3-pickup Burny SG) and a Gibson Burstbucker Pro #2 (slightly hotter wind) in the bridge. Previous owner replaced a lot of the electronics some pots, pickups, etc. Gutiarboretum has moved several and they are fantastic instruments with high-end craftsmanship and extended sustain. The workmanship is almost perfect Even in a direct comparison, there are no significant. The amazing thing is that we as guitar makers say, that these instruments are even technically superior to the originals. If you aren’t familiar with Burny, they are one of the better brands of MIJ clones. Under the brand BURNY, the Japanese guitar manufacturer FERNANDES has been selling sensational LP and SG copies since the 1970s.
